Webbing & Airborne Helmet, Personal Weapons

Battle Order : 

Webbing, Small Pack & Airborne Helmet, Personal Weapons

Barrack Order :  

BD's, Beret & Belt.  Denison also to be brought.  Greatcoat is also a part of this dress and should be brought when advised.  In ALL cases.  Uniform will be Reconnaissance unless otherwise ordered and correctly pressed.

Ceremonial Order :

12th (Yorkshire) Parachute Battalion, White Belt, White Gaiters, White Rifle Sling, White Gloves, Beret, Parachute Regiment Cap Badge, Best Boots, best brasses.

Depot Messing :

Mess Tins, KFS & Mug to be brought to all training day's.

Warning Order

H.M. The Queens Birthday

Dress : Mess Kit or Best BD's.  Ladies : Evening Wear

Arrival : 1930 for 2000 hrs

Routine : Report to Depot during day to help set up

Reporting : Mess members to advise OC asap of attendence and number of guests

Accomodation : Available in barrack rooms for those wishing to stay overnight ready for militaria fair on Sunday.

Operation Varsity

Troop to be at battle site no later than 1000hrs Friday 21st.  Report to upper barrack room in Chatham Gate Barracks upon arrival.

Additional : Ensure you bring ammunition, pyro, enough hot rations for 3 days in the field, cold weather gear, rain capes & ground sheets.  Also bring PuP tents.  Also ensure both water bottles are full.

Dress : Ceremonial

Routine : Honour Guard

Reporting : 0900 hrs at Depot.  Rehersal 1000 hrs. Names to OC for Guard asap.

Additional : Also unit training weekend and Barrck night.  Barrack and field order also required.  Staying in West Wing Barracks over night.  Bring Barrack games.

Operational

Tpr. Martin Fielden transferred into unit.  Posted to Number 1 Section.

Pte. Dave Adamson RAMC transferred into unit.  Appointed as Medical Orderly and Unit First Aider

Commendation

Congratulations to all unit members for passing your Annual Personal Weapons Safety & Competancy Tests.  Having passed; you have demonstrated your awareness of  safe handling of weapons and are permitted to carry arms at private and public events until your re-tests in January 2009.

Arrival at Fort Amherst 0800 hrs.

Dress :  Battle order and ammunition.

Admin :  Tommy cookers and rations for one day.  Ensure all water bottles are full.
